 Needlepoint kits from Ehrman Tapestry:








Needlepoint kit from Elizabeth Bradley.  They make an acrylic trap that fits this needlepoint exactly.  I just need to finish by adding back and ordering the kit.  I've had kit about 30 years now, so in no hurry.

V8804 Jacket 2022 https://gm-v8804-2.blogspot.com/ V8991 project 2021 I remade this jacket using raw silk tweed bought at B&J Fabric in 2016.  The first project, in 2020, is at https://gm-v8991.blogspot.com/ . For the lining I started with China silk from Mood, then switched to silk crepe de chine from Mood.   I bought 6 different trims over the years until I finally found one I liked with this fabric.  The fabric is extremely  ravely, bumpy, and easily distorted.  After I started this I read about and will definitely try this if I tackle another fabric like this.   ProSHEER Elegance COUTURE Fusible Interfacing  V1831 project 2021 This cute little jacket was a stash-buster, using a loosely-woven silk houndstooth check I'd ordered from Mood years ago, and lining I had in stash.  I slightly modified the pattern by removing the band at the top of the pocket and adding a band around the cuff.   V8991 project 2020 https://gm-v8991.bl...

Slipcovers and Upholstery

 These slipcovers are made using 10 oz. prewashed cotton duck from Big Duck Warehouse.  The small slipcover chairs were Grandma's.  Because they were prewashed multiple times I can machine wash and dry these if needed - but they need a lot of ironing, so if I ever do this again I'll look for a synthetic that doesn't wrinkle so much. These reversible cushion covers and pillows were made for Cathy in 2016 I bought this rocking chair at a consignment shop and made the cushions using some fabric I had on hand.

This quilted tote bag, made to hold knitting and tools, used a Vera Bradley tote bag as inspiration This Christmas doll is from Vogue pattern 8336 and was fun to make.  Another pattern, Vogue 8337, has other clothing for her.  I thought it would be fun to make season outfits. Cute quilted ironing board caddy I've made lots of little dog coats.  One of my favorites is Olive's quilted coat with a matching tote bag for me. Bailey and Bella are adorable in their matching dog coats.  The labels on the back of the plaid coats are made using iron on inkjet printer paper, with their names and our contact information.
